NEW WESTERN ATLANTIC - Prime Minister Bergonnia has vyed for another term as the head of government and lost by failing to advance to the second round. The next leader of the region will either be Activist Riost or Constructivist Frost Hammer. This is a blow for the Liberal Democrats who were hoping to expand their representation in government after their surprise victory in the last general election.
Bergonnia has already conceded defeat by two votes to Riost for second place and to Frost Hammer by an even wider 11 votes. He marked his concession speech by backing Riost in the second round, but his party members seem to be divided on that as Josephtan and Banana man154 are voting Frost Hammer against their deputy leader's wishes. The future for Bergonnia is to be seen, but now that he is very well known and has experience as Prime Minister on his resume, he could fit just about anywhere in government.
